Your Septic System Specialists
The two most critical components to a Successful system are
Proper Soil Identification and the Proper Design of a System for that Soil
Some Important Points on Trench Systems
Of the 4 choices Gravel, Chambers, Gravel-less Pipe and Ezflow there is a clear winner,
If you have a system permitted and no layout flags on your site,,,,
It is time to find a NEW contractor!!!
Trench Systems are used when you have better soils
They are very effective and the most cost efficient technology available
We are the only local company that can install your system with irregular trench lengths
But you must have a flood dose system to do so.
This is a VERY useful ability when space is limited for a Field Bed.
Gravel is heavy and the repeated traffic over the system dumping gravel in the trenches is harmful to the soil structure
.
Man made products like Chambers, Gravel-less pipe and Ezflow are light weight and not damaging to the site (your new system)
.
Gravel has dust called Fines, these fines plug up the pores in the soil making your new system work less than perfect
.
Man made Products have no fines
.
Gravel is less sensitive to traffic and the man made systems can crush under traffic
WHAT? YES People ask about driving on it,,,,
DON'T DRIVE ON YOUR SEPTIC SYSTEM!!!!!!!!
We are required to cover a gravel or EZflow trench with a poly fabric to keep soil from filling the voids in the gravel
.
.We are NOT allowed to use plastic sheet since it does not allow oxygen into the trench
.
.Chambers and Gravel-less pipe are just one huge plastic covered tunnel,,
OK so how's that any different? Don't know that one myself.
.
The plastic "roof" in these systems also prevents water vapor from moving up through the soil
It just condensates on the roof and rolls back down to the trench bottom
.
The "roof" also prevents a saturated system from contacting cover soil that can wick water up to roots that help disipate it
.
Bio-mat is a biological mat that occurs due to overloading of bacteria in the trenches
.
Bacteria attach to things, with gravel and Ezflow there are lots of "things" in the trench for bacteria to attach to
.
With Chambers and Gravel-less pipe there are no "things" other than the soil for bacteria to attach to
.
I believe Chambers will suffer Bio-mat damage in a shorter time than Gravel or EZflow
Gravel-less has proven it will be damaged in a very short time
.
Chambers are approved for a 25% reductyion in system size in Indiana. WHY? Ever see the movie Dumb & Dumber?
NEVER INSTALL A REDUCED SYSTEM
If you need to ask yourself if you really need a full system then also ask yourself
If you really need all 10 toes because you're about to shoot some off!
OK why am I the only one using it?
Well it's quite simple a 53 foot long Semi Trailer stacked FULL can haul 1300 feet of Ezflow
That same trailer can haul many thousands of feet of Chambers.
.
EZflow needs to be stored out of sunlight, Chambers are not bothered by sunlight
.
Chambers won't blow away in the wind Ezflow will
.
So it comes down to the distributors,,
.
They just don't want to handle it when they can sell Chambers and make the same money.
.
Don't believe me? Ask them, those were the answers they gave me when I asked them to carry it.
I know Ezflow is a better product so I take the pains to buy a 53' semi load at a time
I then unload it into my own 53' Semi Trailer so it doesn't get sunlight and it won't blow away
Why do I go through that trouble and expense?
Because we install the BEST SEPTIC SYSTEMS and you don't do that by cutting corners
